More than 30,000 PGA professionals, golf enthusiasts, and industry vendors gathered for the 72nd PGA Merchandise Show this past week. Hosted yet again at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL (Jan 21-24), the most obvious takeaway from this year’s Show is that the golf industry is healthy. Very healthy.
The Show had seen many years of reported decline, inciting criticism from a dwindling number of attendees and vendors alike. Finally back on the rise, one pandemic later, the 2025 Show proved positive, the strength of the golf industry and continued post-Covid golf boom. Even brands like Nike Golf decided it was time to return to the Show floor.
My purpose here is not to recap the Show or highlight the best exhibits from the industry, but rather to influence golf industry experts to involve their teams in the Show experience. Yes, our CGS team enjoyed browsing the latest in golf apparel, accessories, tech, and more, but the greatest benefit of attendance comes from invaluable networking and the camaraderie found amongst our peers. We always return home energized and ready for the spring golf season.

Demo Day, hosted at the Orange County National Golf Center on Tuesday, saw an impressive crowd despite chilly, drizzly weather. While we appreciated the dj ripping great beats again at the Cobra station, our best in show award went to Bridgestone’s eye-catching Cybertruck. If only it had been available for a test-drive!

The Show offers the best opportunity for PGA Members from all across the country to gather. New acquaintances become life-long friends and colleagues, sharing best practices and working together to support each other. Even though many of our friends have dispersed in pursuit of advanced careers, we always look forward to catching up at the Show.

The opportunity to offer this experience to our assistant professionals is invaluable. It inspires them to pursue PGA membership and ignites a motivation that can hardly be taught. From Demo Day and Show exhibits, to the exciting Orlando nightlife and after-parties, it’s hard to describe how much we value our time at the PGA Show. After all, how many conventions see Ja Rule randomly wandering their show floor. Amazing.
